So I ride to work, but I work in an office. I needed something that provided a little protection and looked at least a little stylish. they are comfy enough to wear all day without killing my feet. they could use a better insole but very few shoes come with a high-quality insole so that is not a big deal.only one thing of note. one of the other reviewers mentioned that the height of the boot was a little discomforting if I tied the boot all the way up but I solved that but did not use the last eye holes. that worked out great as it allows a little more movement on the bike
