I ordered these to replace my older vented boots that were no longer sold and I'm glad I found these. They seem to be well made and have better protection than my previous vented boots, they also breathe much better. The soles are very stiff but they're comfortable to walk in. I was looking for a boot without laces, which seems to be hard to find now, and I found these that use a side zipper and velcro strap. I haven't had to adjust the strap as they zip on firmly and comfortably. I ordered a size smaller than my previous boots because of other reviewers comments and they fit perfectly, so keep that in mind when ordering. Time will tell how durable they are but if other Alpinestar gear I have purchased is any indicator they should last quite awhile.
